Study Abroad Opportunities

Study Abroad at Hamline University School of Law
At Hamline University School of Law we recognize that the world is shrinking. Legal questions that were once simple domestic issues have grown into complex international quandaries. To be successful in today’s legal marketplace requires lawyers who think globally. Through a careful balance of domestic and international law, we prepare our graduates to face the questions of today’s global economy.

Hamline University School of Law offers study abroad programs in England, Israel, Norway, Puerto Rico, and Hungary. These programs offer opportunities for students to expand their learning and experience in an international context. All programs include trips to local legal institutions. Some programs include post-coursework externships. Courses are taught in English by faculty from around the world, including Hamline University School of Law faculty, guest instructors from other U.S. law schools , academics local to the program, and others.

Through these international study opportunities and Hamline’s diverse international law curriculum, Hamline provides an innovative approach to legal education and exceptional legal experiences at home and throughout the world.
